Scientific program (Time table)
The official language of LT23 is English. It will be used for all printed material and presentations. No translation service will be provided.
| Tuesday, August 20: | Arrival and registration. |
| Wednesday, August 21: | LT23 opening session, including presentation of the Fritz London Memorial Award and the Fritz London Award Lectures. |
| Tuesday, August 27: | LT23 Conference closes at 13:00. |
No sessions will take place on Saturday, August 24. The detailed program will be available on the official LT23 website from June 30, 2002. A conference handbook containing the program and abstracts of papers will be distributed to delegates at the conference desk.
Posters
Most papers will be presented as posters. Each poster will be displayed for half a day between 21 - 26 August from 12:00 to 19:00 with a scheduled session between 16:00-19:00, when there will be no other presentations.
Oral sessions
Plenary or Half Plenary Talks (45 min) will start at 9:00am each day, except for 27 August. Oral sessions consisting of Invited Talks (30 or 15 min including discussion) and Contributed Presentations (15 min including discussion) will be held in five parallel sessions.
