Instructions for presentations

ORALS

Every oral presenter (contributed, invited, plenary) is requested to keep 5 minutes discussion time. Namely,

• Plenary: 40 minutes talk plus 5 minutes discussion
• Invited: 25 minutes talk plus 5 minutes discussion
• Contibuted: 10 minutes talk plus 5 minutes discussion.

A presenter can bring his/her own PC or the presentation file in MS Power Point (ver. 2000-2003, 2007) or Adobe PDF format via USB memory. The presenter should bring the PC or the file to the stage in the break before the session. At the stage, a switcher of the LC projector and PCs working on WindowsXP (Pro or Home) are prepared. The LC projector's resolution is XGA (1024×768), interface: analog RGB, connector: D-sub 15pin and VH5 (BNC type). Be careful not to use special fonts or special add-in software in case you bring the file. Every presenter is requested to check the presentation before the session.

POSTERS

Each presenter will be provided one side of a 210cm (height) x 90cm (width) poster board, and push-pins will be made available. Computer display equipment, sound or projection equipment, or freestanding displays cannot be accommodated due to space restrictions.
